Don’t count on leftovers of this version of pumpkin pie. We serve it every Thanksgiving, and over the years, the recipe has been requested and shared multiple times!!

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Cup + 1 Tbsp milk, divided
1 Tbsp sugar
1 carton (8 oz.) Cool Whip Whipped Topping (thawed, divided)
1 graham cracker crust (9 in. crust)
1 can (15 oz) solid pack pumpkin
2 packages (3.4 oz each) JELL-O, vanilla flavor instant pudding
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
¼ tsp ground cloves
large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 Tbsp milk and sugar with wire whisk until smooth. Gently stir in ½ of whipped topping. Spread onto bottom of crust.
Pour remaining milk into
large bowl. Add pumpkin, pudding mixes and spices. Beat with wire whisk 1 minute or until well mixed. (Mixture will be thick.) Spread over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. (Garnish with remaining whipped topping.)
My aunts don’t drink – unless it’s slush or frozen margaritas. They have a love for sweet, frozen beverages. It doesn’t matter if it’s the hottest summer day or the coldest new years eve. Slush is for every season and every holiday party.
8 C. Water
1 C. Sugar
2 C. Strong Tea
2 (6 oz) cans frozen orange juice
2 (6 oz) cans frozen limeade
1 (12oz) can frozen lemonade
3 C. vodka or gin
Mix all ingredients thoroughly
Put in freezer for 5 hours or until mixture is slushy
A must!-warm up before eating to maximize flavors!

2 Teaspoon Vanilla
4 C Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
⅔ C Brown Sugar
½ C Sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 C Raisins
1 C Chopped Walnuts
Put flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a
mixing bowl and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar, add eggs and mix well with
electric mixer. Combine butter and sugar mixture with four mixture, and sour cream.
Take half of batter and put in 4, 8” greased and floured pans.
Sprinkle half of filling then add remaining butter,
Sprinkle in remaining filling.
Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
Cool for about 10 min. and unmold.
To easily spread batter use a wet knife. As a guide to divide batter use a
serving spoon wrapped in cellophane for a wonderful presentation!
Great addition to your dessert table or to compliment a hot summer day meal!
1 small Cottage Cheese Container
1 small Package Orange Jello
1 large Can Mandarin Oranges
1 small Crushed Pineapple
1 small Cool Whip
Drain pineapple and oranges
Put cottage cheese in a
bowl. Sprinkle jello on top,
Mix in all other ingredients.
Chill before serving.
Carrot Torta is a simple recipe that will be a huge it at your next family get-together! If you’re anything like me, though, it won’t all make it there because it is so phenomenal that I can’t resist “sampling” as often as possible.
1 lb. Carrots
1 Small can Nestle Media Crema (Table Cream)
3 Eggs Beaten
1 Stick Butter (melted)
1 ½ Cups Brick Cheese (crumbled)
½ Cup Sugar
1 Cup Raisins
1 Tsp Baking Powder
¼ Cup Bacardi Rum
1 Tbsp Flour
2 Cups Pound Cake Crumbled
1 Cup Pound Cake Crumbled
2 Tbsp Butter Melted
Peel and shred/chop carrots until very fine.
Add the next 9 ingredients and
mix well in bowl. Add pound cake and mix gently
Pour mixture in a well greased 2 quart, 8 x 11.5 in pan.
Mix the pound cake in a
mixing bowl with the melted butter and sprinkle over the mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until brown.
Serve warm as a side dish or dessert.

½ cup oil
¼ cup margarine
1 ¾ cup sugar
1 Tsp vanilla
2 ½ cups flour
½ cup sour milk
4 Tbls cocoa
1 Tsp soda
½ Tsp cinnamon
½ Tsp salt
2 cups grated zucchini
2 Tbsp Brown sugar
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 cup (6oz.) chocolate chips
Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well in
mixing bowl. Add the vanilla, flour, sour milk, cocoa, cinnamon, and salt them mix well.
Add zucchini and mix
Pour into floured and greased nonstick pans.
Mix brown and white sugars and sprinkle over the top.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over all.
Bake at 350 degee for 40-50 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick into the middle of the cake and it comes out clean.

4 very Ripe Bananas (mashed)
1 tsp of Vanilla
½ c Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Cinnamon
In a medium
mixing bowl combine: flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In a large
mixing bowl cream together: eggs and sugar. Stir in mashed bananas, vanilla, oil and cinnamon.
Stir in flour mixture a third at a time until just combined.
Divide batter into two 9×5 loaf pans.
oven at 350 for 1 hour.
One of my favorite desserts is this recipe for soft chocolate chip cookies! I live close to a chocolate factory in downtown Chicago so I’m always craving one!
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt.
Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated
oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
This fruit pizza recipe is a staple at every family party. My Aunt Lynn is a professional at this one – I swear she is an artist. She carefully picks out and cuts the fruit to it fits perfectly onto the sugar cookie. I call this the healthy looking sugar cookie.

1 Roll of Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
1 Pack of Cream Cheese
1 Container of Cool Whip
¼ Cup Sugar
½ Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Lots of Fruit: Strawberries, Bananas, Grapes, Blueberries, Cherries, and whatever else sounds good!
Bake sugar cookie according to directions on container Let it cool – all the way!
Cut fruit into small pieces
Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla.
Fold in cool whip.
Spread over cooled crust
Add fruit in a pretty pattern
